Ha! I just saw a production of Les Mis in DC and I thought the Fantine was pretty weak here as well. I was less than impressed with the Eponine, too, but the Javert and Val Jean were excellent. I saw it in San Diego and London, too - but the London production was far superior (of course).

Yay for good taste :)

My favorite musical is still the Scarlet Pimpernel, I think.
