hooray, I say, for a long weekend!
Right, so there was plannage for this weekend, except fate and circumstance appear to have tossed it out the window.

saramund's birthday bbq on Saturday, and meeting ellory1 in the city on Sunday, but circumstances beyond their control may mean neither will be happening. In which case, it'll be a quiet long weekend.
However, I will visit my aging and infirm grandmother, no matter what happens.
Lots of time to write! (or try and fail miserably)
On the house front, I've found somewhere that might suffice - a 2br unit to share with another girl. I'm checking it out on Monday. If the worst comes to the worst, at least one of the places I looked at but discarded, was okay. At the least, the place wasn't spick-and-speck neat, and the guy seemed liveable.

allisnow? Apparently Kushiel's Justice isn't due in for another week in the bookstores here... How long will it take you to buy a copy and send it to me? Because it might be worth me waiting until it comes out here in Australia - I should get it within a month. You'll just have to wait then for someone to discuss it with.
