arm verdict

Tendonitis. Fluid in the muscle sheath resulting in aching muscles and slight numbness (mostly at night). Not so bad that I need medication, or to see a specialist, or quit work right now, but the doc took one look at my arms and could see the swelling.

I have this arm-sheath thing to wear at work, and some massaging exercises that are hopefully going to help disperse the fluid, but it'll be a matter of months before it's completely better.

NaNo is completely out. yuletide is going to be hell, sga_santa and merlin_santa only marginally less so. And I don't know what I'm going to do about the original fic.

On the positive side, perhaps I'll be able to a) catch up on my TV viewing, b) do more quilting!
