*snicker*

I am an evil, evil person.

But I think you all already knew that!

...good thing? ;)

[identity profile] cheekygal.livejournal.com 2005-09-10 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
Heh. Love the icon. And in that episode, Apollo came so damned close to full frontal nudity that I almost dropped my knitting!

Oh, to see the blooper reel... ;)

My understanding is that they had lots and lots and lots of "eye line" issues filming that scene. Katee kept looking at Jamie's ass, body, you name it. Then they eventually get it right to the point where Lucy Lawless walks in, and the first thing she does is look down to where the towel is barely covering. Yet another take down the drain. ;)

*dies of laughter*

Well, what the hell do they expect, putting a bod like that before the camera?

It's just asking for oglement.

[identity profile] seldearslj.livejournal.com 2005-09-10 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
Haven't seen it yet, but it should be amusing. Highly so.

[identity profile] adafrog.livejournal.com 2005-09-10 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
Is there something coming up??

[identity profile] seldearslj.livejournal.com 2005-09-10 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
Nah. Just general evil amusement on my part.

Although, I guess, when you see what I'm going to do with Lee in the next story, you might say I'm evil...

[identity profile] pixiesio.livejournal.com 2005-09-10 02:00 am (UTC)(link)
Do I need to ask, or can I guess relatively easily? ;)

[identity profile] seldearslj.livejournal.com 2005-09-10 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
Is that a trick question??? ;)

[identity profile] deire.livejournal.com 2005-09-10 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
Granted, but now I'm curious as to why it's currently relevant. :g:

[identity profile] seldearslj.livejournal.com 2005-09-10 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
I'll take the Fifth on that, I think.

Hm, does the Fifth only apply to American citizens?

[identity profile] chiroho.livejournal.com 2005-09-10 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
Yup. So you can't take the fifth amendment to the US Constitution. :D

Out with it!

[identity profile] seldearslj.livejournal.com 2005-09-10 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
Can I claim that on the internet, we're all American citizens or something like that? ;)

[identity profile] majorsamfan.livejournal.com 2005-09-10 06:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Not that I disagreed with much of what you said here:

The Post About Things American
(though some of it stung - because it's true)

but it seems...paradoxical? ironic? You're a better writer than I am, so I'll leave it to you to come up with the best word...to want to claim American citizenship so soon after posting it.

Glad you had a nice visit. Wish we'd met while you were in my neighborhood, so I could picture your face while reading what you write.
Jill

You want to claim that you're an American citizen???

[identity profile] seldearslj.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, only for the purposes of getting out of explaining whatever it was that you wanted me to explain...

[identity profile] seldearslj.livejournal.com 2005-09-13 01:57 am (UTC)(link)
I see the English won the Ashes.

[identity profile] chiroho.livejournal.com 2005-09-13 12:20 pm (UTC)(link)
And the less said about that, the better.

[identity profile] seldearslj.livejournal.com 2005-09-13 12:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Are Wendy and Sally gloating?

[identity profile] chiroho.livejournal.com 2005-09-13 12:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Wendy's still on holiday I think. Sally did post about it, as you would expect. Thought I knew what to expect from her as I was texting her score updates throughout the day while she was at work. It's actually Sue that is rubbing it in the most! (I think she's trying to fill in for Wendy.)

[identity profile] seldearslj.livejournal.com 2005-09-13 12:44 pm (UTC)(link)
*laughs* I can see Sue doing that.

Ah well. As someone pointed out, Australia has enjoyed great sporting success in the last decade. Coming down from it was only a matter of time.

[identity profile] chiroho.livejournal.com 2005-09-13 01:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Said the way only someone who doesn't follow the team faithfully could put it. ;)

See with me, I don't live in Aus any more. I don't get to relate with Australians all that much. I get excited about Australia being one of the best sporting nations on earth so I can rub it in the noses of yanks, and can rejoice in my being Australian in this vicarious manner. Yes it's sad, but it's not like I get all that many other opportunities.

It's just that ALL the teams I've followed have been slammed on the sporting front recently.

The Australian Cricket team has lost the Ashes for the first time in 15 years.

The Australian Rugby Union side has lost 6 international matches in a row for the first time in nearly 20 years.

The NSW Waratahs proved again that they were show ponies when it came down to it in the Super 12.

The Sea Eagles, after a promising start to the season, are losing again.

I mean, I've not been an AFL fan, but maybe I need to start following the Swans. At least they're winning a bit.

[identity profile] seldearslj.livejournal.com 2005-09-13 01:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah. See, that sucks. :(

Never been much of a sporting fan. I like the action-y bits, but get bored when nothing's happening.

[identity profile] chiroho.livejournal.com 2005-09-13 01:10 pm (UTC)(link)
The difference is I played cricket, rugby, and soccer at high school, and my father is a big sports fan having played cricket and rugby at an amateur level. So when you grow up watching something on TV all the time, you get into it.

Oh well, I'm sure Australia will be winning at something or other sooner or later. Until then I'll just hide from all the pommies on LJ. ;)
