AUTHOR'S NOTES: written for the Angel Book of Days ficathon challenge of Spring. I was planning to enter this ages ago, then turned up on the site one day to discover that everything was already assigned and finished! But I offered to write a story for backup, and was given this one. Kristina B asked for Connor, Future/Past/AU, Jasmine, and no-fluff.

30 days...

That's such a scary thought.

In 30 days time I leave Australia for the longest time I've ever been out of the country - and it's only 6 weeks. I'll be staying with people I've met before and people I've never met before.

It's just a little terrifying.

And I have the feeling that half the people I would have gone to see if I'd done this last year are no longer talking to me. On the other hand, a whole slew of people who I'm going to see this year talked to me for the first time in the last year...I guess it kind of evens out.

*frowns* I thought I had three weeks to go before I left. But I must have four. I've worked four weeks and I have another four to go. Or it's really late and the maths is doing in my brain. How many weeks between the 17th of May and the 9th of July? I counted seven, but it might be eight...

Somewhere along the way, life seems to have slipped an extra week into the margarita. And taken away the little pink umbrella. *sigh*

I think I'm just soul-crushingly tired right now. Physically-emotionally-mentally-creatively-spiritually tired.

I'd call my mum, but it's about 1am where she is, and now she has a hubby she's not so amenable to being woken up after midnight.

This post turned depressing really fast.

it just occurred to me that I shoulda named that last post "another 28 days". hah.
