In a rather shocking discovery, I count some 47,900 words towards mygetyourwordsout challenge. I picked the 'insane' level, requiring 350,000 words by the end of the year. The count includes not only the stuff I've written above, but the castoffs of the stories I've written: scenes which don't fit, lines and interactions that aren't used, sections that are pruned from a story for being irrelevant or not useful to the plot. And the count doesn't include journal entries or meta.
That's a lot of words. Even for me.
