Boxing Day
Dec. 26th, 2004 07:43 amI wish everyone reading this would have as relaxing and non-stress a Christmas Day as I did. We came, we helped set up, we ate, we helped clean up, we veged out for 7 hours and went home. No family fights, arguments, tantrums, or conflicts.
Not much loot, but then, we agreed this was to be a fairly low-key Christmas, so the items I did get were practical and open-ended. Bike accessories from the parentals, Max Brenner chocolate from B2, and B1 donated money to a Christian group on my behalf - which is good, because I'm too lazy/greedy to donate it myself! The stepbros and cousins all gave us vouchers - video and Christian bookstore - which suits me fine.
*hugs*
skydiver119,
tv_elf, and
cheekygal again. Thanks, ladies!
Oh, and ultimate Christmas Day gift? I got paid for half the work I did during Nov/Dec. Which means my bank account is not a big fat $0, and I will be able to a) pay for Christmas presents, b) pay the bloody mortgage that's been worrying me.
Now to resist the Boxing Day sales. Eek!
