On other matters, I'm guessing that the
SG-1 episode 'Threads' is a keeper considering
the f-list has gone bonkers about it.
I'm unspoiled and haven't the faintest idea if all the noise being made means it's good or it's bad. Good or bad?

Voting has begun in the 2005 Sam/Jack Fanfiction Awards. For those of you new to the game, this is how it works.
1. Go to the website
2. Click on the NOMINATIONS button.
3. Read the stories. Yeah, I'm serious. Read them! You have a whole month.
4. Decide which one story per category floats your boat.
5. Return to the website
6. Click on the VOTING button.
7. Fill out the form. Hit send.
8. Rejoyce.
SAMANDJACK.net has had a couple instances of, well, not working over the past few months. Should this happen during the voting period, said voting period will be extended to make sure that everyone has a full month in which to make their selections.
There is an icon for nominated authors to put on their websites (you can find the NOMINATIONS page). Letting readers know you have a story up is cool. Cheating - i.e. 'stuffing the ballot box' - is dorky. Don't do it.
Let's recap.
A - Go to the site.
B - Read.
C - Vote.
D - Don't be a dork.

Come on over, guys. All the cool kids are doing it.And yes, I have stories nominated. Surprisingly enough, I don't mind if you vote for them
if you think they're the best in the category. I have not read all the stories in the categories (yet) and so am not qualified to say.

I have just written my fastest fic in the world from go-to-whoa: 7 days. From conception to posting. 7 days. 28,000 words.
I think I will lie down and die now.
