ficathon pimp
Oct. 7th, 2006 11:44 amI was going to do this ages ago.
There's a ficathon on for people who like John-and-Teyla. As friends or lovers; working as a team, hanging out as friends, or getting their lines crossed romantically.
Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing some humourous John-and-Teyla stories. Not stupid, slapstick comedy, but light humour and the kind of situations at which you have to laugh.
At any rate, it's not only romance, but friendship and teamship too. If you can see friendship between them (and if you can't, then I wash my hands of you, because you're missing the whole thrust of Season Three and the team) then I recommend signing up over at
john_teyla_fic.
If you're not good at writing Teyla, then I'm happy to coach anyone who wants help. Once upon a time, I got asked to write a story about a character I knew I wasn't good at. I found a beta who liked the character and I put in some effort. The resultant fic has one of my highest review counts. So, really, not being good at a character is no excuse.
Closing date for sign-ups is Sunday 8th October.
