Dang, I had something else to say but my brain has fizzled. Let's go for the facts! Just the facts, man!
NaNo original fiction: 18K going for 20K tonight.
NaNo overall (including fanfic): 32K, going for 35K tonight.
I'm going to try for at least 30K to the original over the 30 days, although I don't imagine the completed story will be less than 70K. The overall NaNo has to include fanfic because I spent a lot of time pounding those keys for fanfiction and dammit, it's going to be counted.
Most months I end up writing more than 50K words-to-fiction anyway. NaNo is really just an excuse for me to get moving on my original fiction.
Alright. When I hit 19K on this story, I can go play Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of... Oh, wait, the stepbro will be here in an hour. Better play now.
Start work Monday. Bloody terrified.
