not-quite-Heroes-related
Feb. 16th, 2007 09:05 pmOkay, so maybe it's a little weird that although I'm watching Heroes lately, the muse has picked up a dozen plotbunnies of Atlantis.
Heroes seems to be falling into the BSG line of plotbunnyness, namely, "I got nuffin'."
Any road, the sparking of the SGA muse means a whole bunch of longfics that got canned because they had plot and no muse to write them are back in business again and coming along at a slow but steady rate.
However, I was reading the girls over at Go Fug Yourself and spotted a familiar 'Heroes' face and the headline: Fug The Cheerleader, Fug The World.
And with a headline like that, you just have to check out the rest of the article. (Well, I do, anyway.)
I may need Heroes iconage soon. As in, very soon.

I don't know what it is about this computer, the room, or me, but I get a lot of incy wincy spiders abseiling down over my computer while I'm sitting here, typing. I'm staring off into space, reflecting on whatever plotbunny is presently chowing down on my brain, and this tiny black dot with itty bitty legs sails down before my very eyes, attached to a micrometre-thick line that runs for a good metre-to-a-metre-and-a-half up to the ceiling.
This is the fourth or fifth time it's happened in the last couple of weeks.
Possibly, I am sitting in the equivalent of The Abseiling Destination for young, reckless spiders, eager to try out their thread-spinning skillz and show off to potential mates.
Dear spiders,
plz not to be having secks above my computer, let alone laying egg sacs and spawning hundreds more itty bitty spiders who will then abseil off my ceiling, thereby repeating the whole process in the ciiiiircle of liiiiife...
It's late. It's Friday. It's time for bed!
