One hour before your first game starts is NOT an appropriate time to tell your team captain that you're reconsidering playing this season.

I persuaded her to come along for at least this game but I'm presently wearing my "are you KIDDING me?" expression.
We're fielding three teams, with just enough players for each team if we don't get any dropouts.
This is summercomp. That's a bloody big "if".
eta: lost - 1-0 to the other team in our club. But a solid game for our first play.
