I didn't agree with all her policies, and my inner North Shore Snob winced every time she opened her mouth (that accent!) (except when she was giving Tony Abbott what-for: that was bloody magnificent), but she did the job of PM in an atmosphere that was hostile at best and poisonous at worst. And a woman is always judged half as good and twice as harshly as a man in the same job.
Respect to you, Madam Gillard, and thanks.
(Is there a Dothraki phrase for that, I wonder?)
