Ever had one of those days where you stretched 2 hours worth of work into 8?

Yep, 'twas one of those.

I could have written. And written. And written. So much. Except that I felt guilty for having only 2 hours work and not anything else I could work on. In spite of asking for more work. (Oliver Twist: Please, sir? May I have some more?) BAH!

Have rewatched the 2nd half of BSG mini again: needed to do so for my ficathon entry. I think I've got it under control. Mostly. When's it due again? *checks* Okay, May 14th. That's *counts* Saturday. Can do. Maybe. I think I'd have preferred it if they'd asked for Kara/Lee, but...a challenge, right?

Oh. Anyone willing to beta a BSG fic? Won't be more than about 1500 words, I'm doing my best, but it won't be a novel. Will probably get it Thursday or Friday, to be beta'd by Saturday. Grip on characterisation essential. Oh, and someone to point out, "Sel, you can't do that. Because episode 1.xx actually refutes that entirely and screws up your premise" with all gentleness, because I just know it's going to happen.

Oh, and uh, erm... sjficathon-person-who-doesn't-know-they're-going-to-get-a-frakking-(oh-the-corruption!)-novel-out-of-this-ficathon? I'm really sorry. Really. Sorry.

I dunno. They don't generally have a lot of time on their hands, and they haven't read (or at least, responded) to one of my stories in several years now, so I suspect that short might be better than long in this case.
