status update

SGA fic: stuck.
Craft project: 75% done.
Flights to and from Wedding!Con: booked.
Body after gym class: sore.
ADSL modem: has the power switched off. But the wireless connection says that the signal strength is 'very good' and the IP address is all correct and the internet is working better than it has in a long time! WTF?

Last night, I dreamed I was sleeping in a hotel room last night, and this hand reached up from the floor and began clawing at the mattress. I suspect that the cat might have been scratching at something. It was a horrible dream to have; especially the bit where I reached down to find out what was going on and this leathery clawlike hand latched onto me. Ugh.

You aren't connected through someone else's wireless network, are you? Son has done that (accidentally :-)) when he's been at his girlfriend's family home - they must have a neighbour who hasn't thought to encrypt their network.

ugh, Sel I thought you were smarter than that! Okay, sit down and listen. Never put your hand or face under the bed. Never open the closet door to inspect the noise. Never open the door of your house to check out the creepy noise. There is ALWAYS a bad guy/killer/monster out there! When you get the hang of those, we'll move on to the next batch ;)
