Things I Did Today

seldear1. Finished project Q1. YAY!
2. Ate. Lots. Still have food leftover.
3. Watched BSG - 'Litmus'. The Sergeant (Head of Security) is familiar. Why?
4. Read 'A Hat Full Of Sky'. Terry Pratchett is the closest thing to God when it comes to writing.
The muse has pretty much halted on all stories. I'm trying to push through the SGA fic I began, but I've been on the same scene for a fortnight or more. Let's not even touch the original fic.
And the cylonbunnies are coming. They look and feel like plotbunnies. Some of them are programmed to think they are plotbunnies. And they have a plan.
I have a feeling the plan is to kill all the plotbunnies so only the cylonbunnies are left.
This is Not Good.
It is also possible that this is why the Muse went AWOL.

Soft-centred chocolate pudding
200g chopped chocolate
100g butter
30g plain flour
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
Melt chocolate and butter in bowl over boiling water. Don't let the water touch the bottom of the bowl. Lightly beat the eggs and add in the sugar. Combine the chocolate mixture with the egg mixture, (you might like to let the chocolate mixture cool a little,) then lightly fold in the flour. Pour into buttered ramekins and cook at 170deg C for 12 minutes. It will looked uncooked in the centre. Tip out into a bowl and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.

apples (granny smiths work fine)
cinnamon
brown sugar
puff pastry
Peel and chop apples into small pieces. Add brown sugar and cinnamon to coat. (Just throw it all in a bowl and toss through until its all coated. Adding a bit of melted butter doesn't hurt, either.) Lay apples down in puff pastry and fold over. Bake in 170deg C oven for about 15 minutes, or until the pastry is puffy and golden-brown. Serve warm with cream. (Or hot, if you don't feel you really need your tastebuds. I recommend warm.)
Um. I don't generally go for 'the healthy option'. I eat as much as I like and either stress or exercise it off. My metabolism presently permits this. It may not be so forgiving in future.
