Jul. 10th, 2005 08:19 amMajorly tired. Dizzy like whoa. And I ATEN'T DEAD. Yet.
Do you think being dead is easier than being tired? 'Cos you may not get to live, but you'd definitely get to sleep. Well, theoretically, anyway.
This whole 'still sunny at 10pm' thing is going to take some getting used to.
Oh yeah. And Lufthansa sucks. So does economy class. I want to fly business. Always. And is the world supposed to rock the way it's presently doing - like I'm on a boat?
The cylonbunnies have bombed Caprica. A small contingent of plotbunnies have gotten away, but at least one of them is a cylonbunny in disguise. I TOLD YOU THIS WOULD HAPPEN.

Okay, it's Sunday morning in Nottingham, and somehow I'm going to have to get used to the idea that the sun rises at 4:30am. And, since my personal mental alarm is set to go off when the sun rises, if I'm not sleeping between 10:30pm and 4:30am, I'm probably going to have to take a siesta of some kind.
I ended up at Manchester airport at 10:30pm Friday night, eighteen hours after I left HK and having been up for a full 24-hours. The only sleep I managed on the flight from HK to Frankfurt were naps that did nothing for my exhaustion. The first opportunity to get to Nottingham from Manchester wasn't until 7am, so I took a hotel room at the Airport Radisson. Expensive (as in $300 AUD expensive), but I got a good 6 hours sleep so my body thinks it was worth it, even if my credit card is screaming.
The English countryside is so LUSH! It's green! Everywhere! And sunny! And a very pleasant 23degC. Perfect weather for a travelling Aussie.
angelsasha and Rob are lovely. They live in a really nice little unit in Nottingham, have a huuuuuuge DVD collection and are major gamers. *snickers* So far, we haven't done much, but that's okay. Time with them is mostly going to be hanging out time, while time with
dannylurks is going to be 'get around and see stuff' time.
Being the Farscape fan that she is,
angelsasha has shown me the pilot episode and 'Crackers Don't Matter' - the series looks quite cool, but I'm not going to watch it. I'm intrigued and curious, yes, but not going to watch the whole series now. Am writing plotbunnies. ps. John and Aeryn are cute. As if you didn't know it.
Meeting up with
dannylurks tomorrow, and hopefully to see
coloneljack...
