Took [livejournal.com profile] stef94 out to the city yesterday, Circular Quay, the harbour, the Harbour Bridge, Opera House, and Botanical Gardens with a touch of QVB.

Heimdall-lemming and Daniel-lemming came with. Expect photos. :)

The Opera House was awash with tourists in the morning sun, and getting photos without people in them was a tricky business. Then we walked through the Botanical Gardens to Mrs. Macquarie's Chair (a viewpoint from which you can see the Harbour Bridge and Opera House in splendid array) and were tickled by the signs that said, "Please walk on the grass" and "Please hug the trees." I have a pic of Stef (and Heimy) hugging a tree - need to get the memory card reader so I can get the photos up. Picspam in a few days.

I found some presents while we were browsing through the Rocks. So did Stef. And did you know that a tomato, ricotta, parmesan, proscuitto, and rocket (arugula) on a pizza can be very tasty?

It was a lovely day: started sunny, got a bit colder and cloudier by the time we got on a Ferry trip out to Watson's Bay. Stef was entranced by all the people out in the harbour sailing - particularly as we got further east. Many photos.

Dinner with the parentals, including passionfruit-and-mango souffle. Nice.

Today, well, it's 9am on a Sunday morning, and we're going to watch S2 of BSG when we really wake up. Well, when Stef really wakes up. And try to contact Ness. And go see 'Serenity' again.

I believe the allocation of space on this chair is extremely biased. I have 2/5th of the chair seat, the cat has 3/5ths. Chair-hogger.

Oh, I forget you call it different. Rocket = roquette = arugula.

That pizza sounds glorious. I love proscuitto. :)

And tell your cat to bow down before her mistress. Hey, it's worth a try! ;)

Actually, you're lucky you have any part of the chair. (I am an 'owner' of a cat, Nikko, and we have come to an agreement regarding the computer chair - he loves them)

You have a point. My cat tends to take over anything and everything on which I work. Chair, computer, desk, bed...the list goes on and on.

Ah, cats.

He took over my bed this morning and he's still there. It's just so cute that I don't want to move him, ya know?
