seldearSo I signed up for three community courses.
1. Silver Jewellery.
2. Mandarin Level 1.
3. Tap Dancing.
Because I have a regular job, I can finally do a community course that isn't a one-day-er. I'm hoping I'm not too late and that they still have positions available at the times I want them, though.
A friend of mine didn't quite hassle me into Mandarin, but she's taking classes and she's white, so I feel kinda shamed into it! And there's the trip to China next year. *wonders if she can persuade L to come to China*
The Silver Jewellery course is for artistic curiosity. And because some of the secondary and advanced courses look interesting.
And Tap Dancing is because I've never done tap dancing...and all the other dance courses, Latin, Salsa, etc, imply that you need a partner. And, knowing those classes, there'll be way too many girls and not half enough guys. Besides, tap dancing! Okay, and maybe Laura Cadman had a leetle to do with it. *g* Sheer curiosity.
Next time, see if there are any Kali practitioners about...
