I love the symmetry of a Baltar in Six's head, and a Six in Baltar's head. It seems so fitting.
Yanno, if I had to pick any couple as "soul mates" in BSG, it would be Baltar and Six. Because those two are...twisted.
Acting from both Trisha Helfer and Grace Park is brilliant. I love Caprica!Six and Caprica!Sharon. And it's intriguing to think that if the humans are touched by the Cylons, then the Cylons have enough 'humanity' to be touched by the humans. A blind spot of the Cylon mentality, perhaps: that they can intervene in the fate of humanity, that they can interact with humanity, but not be touched by it - that the interaction is one-way. And yet we have both Caprica!Six and Caprica!Sharon as evidence of the contrary.
"Humans don't respect life." Isn't that a bit rich coming from the Cylons who can be repeatedly reborn?
A fascinating episode in terms of plot and storyline, and gripping in terms of the development of the Cylon Resistance against the Cylons. Houses divided.
Lay Down Your Burdens I and II for this afternoon, then the first two episodes of S3 tonight. I think I might actually make it.
And then maybe I can get some fic written for a change.
Yesterday, we met up with
ladyjax for afternoon tea and had a great time. Now we're off to see
tv_elf for lunch.
