This is just about the best description of what they're doing with the Petrellis thus far, IMO.

I still love that Claire is completely obsessing over her "uncle."

The shapechange/illusionist/whatever makes me want to reach through the screen and strangle her. She reminded me of Juliette Lewis in all the roles I REALLY dislike her in.

OMG Daddy & Momma Bennett broke my heart. Mostly because this ep. took Mrs. Bennett to a place it hadn't before AND it took their marriage away from the zone of creepy-brainwiping. I was worried there for a while that their marriage was just...wrong. And I just couldn't reconcile Daddy Bennett's oh-so-obvious love for Claire with his casual manipulation of his wife and son. *sigh* When she turned on the music and showed him his note to prove that he'd confided in her my heart just SOARED!

You think Linderman just wants to make sure the "powered" people are a) identified and b) in POWER (politically and otherwise?)
IS he a Magneto? :p

Now all they need is a daughter from a future alternate universe, a cloned wife, a son with a strange virus who gets sent to the future before returning, and a wife of one of the guys to become the host to a cosmic entity. Then, they’re all set.

Hated shape-changing girl. Wanted to smack her the first time I saw her, and I'm only having more violent thoughts about her now. :) Still, it's interesting to have Mr. Bennett in danger now. I wonder where his wife and son are?

I hope Mohinder isn't dead, too. I think if he were going to die, they would already have had him dead instead of croaking out "Sylar" at the end. But that might be wishful thinking.

My favorite part is that Ando didn't leave Hiro, though. I cheered when he showed up dressed as a guard. :)

Petrelli = Summers is par for the course. I mean, the major storylines hinge around them, and most of the characters tie in to them in interaction or relationship. It's just...scary.

Linderman as Magneto...hehe. Yeah, he had that kind of "you don't want to mess with me, and I'm sharp enough to give you incentive not to" mentality. At least he's more subtle about it than Magneto, if that's what he's trying to do.

I'm rapidly getting over the Nikki/Jessica thing. It was a relief to see Nikki taking over Jessica for a change, but I really want to see Nikki kick Jessica's ass when her family and loved ones are in trouble.

Plus, you were right. the Nathan/Nikki scene in the hotel was hot. He didn't know if he was going to kiss her or kill her.

Yeah, I'm hoping that Peter smacks down Sylar's murdering ass. Actually, I'm kinda curious, too...what the heck is Sylar's gift? While Peter can take other people's power, still leaving them with their own; it seems Sylar has to kill people before he can acquire their powers.

In the flashback episode when he's the geeky watch dude he tells david from csi (the guy that moves things with his mind) that he's 'broken' and he can see it. He also tells mohinder's dad/Kasuf that he can see where the watch is broken that it's a 'gift'

So I thought that was his power and that he ate the brains or something (eww) but in parasite he says to Peter "you're like me!" so now I'm really confused!

I've enjoyed Heroes so far, but if they go too far into X-Men territory, I'm going to start getting frustrated.

Okay, so he sees things that are broken...but all people are broken in some way - disconnected, disparate, unable to find meaning, so maybe he's working on a bad assumption - that people might be 'broken' but people aren't watches - they don't necessarily need 'fixing'.

Oh, yeah, I forgot to comment on that part of your theory. I love that idea. I certainly hope we haven't seen the last of Claude. In fact, I'm sure we haven't. There is still a lot to learn about him. Who was he protecting from HRG and co. back in the day? Multiple people? What happened to them? What happened to him that made him such a loner when Peter found him?

I know! it finally turned Mrs. Bennett into a sympathetic character and not just a vapid fancier of small yappy canines!

I kept thinking Linderman was going to skewer ~~Scott~~ Nathan with kitchen knives!!

And yeah...They need to have Nikki completely (or almost completely) assimilate Jessica STAT. Keeping access to her powers and all.

Nikki/Nathan was WAY hotter than Jessica/Nathan, actually.
