I loved it.
Never seen Shaun of the Dead, but I'm thinking I migiht have to now.
The whole movie was hilarious fun, black humour, insanity upon comedy upon insanity upon shoot-em-ups. It's a bit like a British version of The Stepford Wives - the value of the appearance of things over messy reality.
And the scene with the 'cabal' repeating everything after each other? Wonderful. Frighteningly wonderful.
For me, the appeal is similar to Gross Pointe Blank, which was also insane, comedic, and with a great deal of firepower. Plus, black humour.
