trip - several options
Apr. 28th, 2007 10:33 amThe parents have changed the rules again. We probably won't be going on the China tour until January 2008.
We have a problem.
1. US: October 2007 - HW hit Disneyland and Vegas
2. China: January 2008 - family trip
3. UK: May 2008 - GABIT's Amanda Tapping convention in London
Can anyone else see the great big gaps in scheduling in the midst of all this? Because, seriously? ARGH!
Then again, the job I'm about to go into might be open to rehiring me if I'm only gone to the US for a couple of weeks, and ditto with China. I just have to carefully not-screw-up at the job.
Am now reconsidering how the trip to the US is going to work. I might be able to visit more places during October if I decide to return early November instead. And I'd get the Australian summer that way, too...
ETA: If I take 2-3 week holidays overseas, I might have a better chance of a longer-term work contract with the upcoming work place. I mean, I'd have to see how the work measured up, but I might very well be able to take the trip to the US for a month and come back to a job!
