"more weight"

I'm gonna have to talk to the hosts about a new mattress. The insidious lumpiness is really getting to me. I haven't had a good night's sleep in the bed.
Hopefully, if I offer to pay for half of it, that might sweeten them on the subject?
Food and me are having a love-hate affair right now. The problem is primarily that a cup of tea or coffee in the morning leaves me feeling bloated until midday. And there's a lot of bloatage in the present time.
But someone in the office has a toasted sandwich. This is an extremely unfair set of circumstances.
And I'm getting obsessive about fitting into some really nice suits that I bought, oh, some eight years ago, and if you saw the cut of them and the way they make my legs actually look long then you would appreciate them, too! Unfortunately, the waist at age 30 has a few inches' girth on 22 and we have muffin topness happening. It's difficult for me to feel 'healthy' when I'm carrying the proverbial spare tyre around my waist.
Found a gym down here, joining tomorrow to get some classes in.
I have a solution to the 'no internets' but I'm kinda ambivalent about putting it in. In the evenings and on weekends, it is difficult to feel connected - socially - since several people I chat to are only available evenings.
Of course, the advantage of not having limited internet (ie. only at work) is that writing is actually happening. Of course, being satisfied with that writing is another matter entirely. But I have a feeling I'm going to need time to write around here - there are a number of personal projects that I need to get done this year. The time will never be better.
As a result, I've set aside an hour before dinner and an hour after dinner for writing. Anything else is a bonus.
I've even divided the time up between fanfic and profic.
I need to get into the habit of taking the camera with me, wherever I go. Because I missed this fantastic photo op the other night: crescent moon, evening star (venus), twisty old stump of a eucalypt spearing 7-8m up into the violet sky.
Believe me, it was gorgeous. The area is extremely photogenic at dawn and dusk.
