metabolism, health, weight
Jun. 27th, 2007 08:13 pmI always hate the first few weeks of getting into a gym routine, you know? The breathlessness, the tiredness, the sore muscles and the gritted teeth.
And then somewhere around the end of the first month, I'm going at least twice a week (ideally, three times), my muscles still hurt but my body's begun to improve on the metabolism side of things. I don't feel quite so flabby and slug-like; I can eat and not feel bloated; and the good times set in.
It's a nice feeling.
On the other hand, I'm kinda tired lately.
