I didn't even know about the cross post thing until someone asked people not to do it, lol. I'm behind :( My guess is that means I won't ever do it! ;)
It's not just the ability to post your own comments to twitter and facebook, but others, in responding to your journal - even if it's friends locked - can make their posts crossposted, thus breaking the friends lock
one reason people are so ticked off
I f'lock stuff cause i don't want work or family reading it. but with this 'new and improved' thing of theirs, all of a sudden -theoretically - any post can be cross posted without your consent and go 'viral' (as viral as any post can realistically go) and your privacy is tossed to the wind.
