Step One
1. Make a post (public, friends locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
2. If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
3. Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
1. Surf around your friendslist (or friends friends, or just random journals, or [info]holiday_wishes/[info]wish_list) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
2. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Fannish Section - fic
- NCIS: Tony/Ziva fic. I'm going to be specific with this one - casefic involving the team, but with an in-character Tony/Ziva dynamic. Recs are welcome, too!
- SGA or SG1 teamfic. Lots of Sam and/or Teyla and/or Vala.
- SGA: John/Teyla fic. I'm writing some (at least two stories), but...I wants more, precious! Actually, I'd really really love something action-adventure-y with the team, but one always wants more! MORE! Or something with Teyla/Kanaan with John-angst and a John/Teyla ending, but which doesn't make anyone out to be evil mean nasty and/or bitchy.
- SGA women: the SGA women save the day!
- crossover of doom: Teyla, Gwen, Parker, and Ziva "in-a-bar" together. Causing trouble? Getting drunk? Wondering what they're doing here? Picking pockets? Hm. What if we added Faith and Zoe Washburne? Toss in Brennan to bring the anthropological observations of human interaction? And then have their menfolk come looking for them! Doesn't even have to be "into a bar" - any situation into which you can crowbar the girls would be awesome!
- Merlin - Arthur/Gwen: I'd like something with the Knights of Camelot and Gwen, where Gwen keeps them in line and somehow saves the day. Or maybe Gwen as the leader of a band of the Knights during an adventure, and at first they think she needs protection until they realise she's got a brain and is willing to use it. And then they get back to Camelot and Arthur has to be all, "My Gwen. MINE!" At which point Gwen is all, "Not yours! My own!"
- Young Wizards: Kit/Nita - I'd love to read a romance about these two, the little ways they develop their relationship into boyfriend/girlfriend after being just good friends for years.
Fannish Section - graphics
- icons of any of my favourite characters/pairings
- a wallpaper of any of my favourite characters/pairings - pref. with appropriate quotations (less-romantic ones, please!)
"Real-Life" Section
- a used e-reader. Brand doesn't bother me, I'd like to try one instead of constantly buying books like whoa and then having to find places to put them. (My bedframe and nightstands look like a used bookstore just ran through the place, shedding inventory like a kitty shedding fur for summer.)
...I'm guessing nobody can gift me a spare month in which I could do nothing but catch up with NCIS, Merlin, Glee, Sanctuary, Leverage, Undercovers, Rizzoli and Isles, Eureka, Fringe, and all the other TV shows I want to watch?
Also, point me to your wishlists if you've got them, so I can see if there's anything I can provide!
