Travel 2013
Dec. 10th, 2012 09:55 pmApparently I need to book early, because the parentals were having trouble getting flights for the right time.
So, forthwith is the "arranging travel 2013" post - known destinations: San Francisco, Atlanta, North Carolina, and Venice.
Am contemplating London between the US and Venice, alternatively New York or another northeastern city for a few days.
I have someone to stay with for a few days in San Francisco, before heading over to D*C in Atlanta from the 30th August to the 2nd September (I don't have anywhere to stay while at D*C, although I do have an offer of somewhere to stay in Atlanta generally).
From Atlanta, I hope to head for North Carolina. Otherwise, (or perhaps 'additionally') I will probably head for New York for a couple of days, and perhaps London for a couple of days before heading out to Venice.
Although London is a bit of a bugger to navigate, and I don't know anyone who lives there and has space for me to crash.
Fly into Venice by the 10th September. Travel with parentals for two weeks, fly home and go back to work.
I'm a bit bummed that I'll be travelling the wrong way around the globe - it's easier going from east to west than west to east, but, eh. The timetable of Venice and of D*C are kind of fixed and I can't change them.
Anyone able to be in New York or London between the 2nd and the 9th September next year?

Exactly when I get to NY largely depends on whether I'll be staying in North Carolina or not. Either way, I'll probably be there at least around the 7th-9th September if you guys are there. I have to be in Venice by the 10th is all.
