well done. maybe slightly crisped.
Mar. 18th, 2005 08:21 amMy brain, I mean.
Ladies and gennelmen! I present to you 75 pages of Sam/Jack, 46,000 words, and one really, really brain-fried author. Does anyone know how to massage a brain back to consciousness? I think mine may be comatose.
And now, for my next trick... 'Actaeon' and 'Scars of the Heart' in a week!
*dies*
On the minus side, I look like hell. On the plus side, I slept all the way through the night until my alarm woke me up at 6:45. That felt good.
Feeling a bit more pressure at work. Possibly because I come in early and stay late. Never thought I'd do that, but peer pressure is very powerful. I arrive between 7:30 and 8am, leave around 4:30-5pm. But I have this urge to stay longer, because the others don't get in until 8:30 and leave between 5pm and 6pm.
Must. Resist.
It's just hard to pack up and leave when everyone else is still madly typing away. And in a room of thirteen or fourteen computery people, that's a lotta typing.
Weekend in Sydney. And then next weekend (Easter) in Sydney again. Me, my cat, and I, home alone for four days. Meals at mum's.
arabel, if you want to catch up then 'cos you happen to be around at your parents' place, then that might be better than this weekend - esp. if you're 'flat-chat'. *g*
