upsides and downsides
May. 22nd, 2005 05:36 pmDownside of weekend: worked an extra 12 hours over the weekend. 8 hours on Saturday, 4 on Sunday.
Upside of weekend: finished fic, got new fic ideas, have gotten housemates interested in BSG, started and finished a work program in 8 hours - more or less, have only two weeks left to go here, booked flight tickets for RTW trip, and those 12 hours I worked are not going to be paid in peanuts!
So, on the whole, a satisfactory weekend.
Now, I just have to make it through next week... Oy. And I can't tease the guy next to me about working 8 days in a week anymore! Well, I can, but it would be a bit hypocritical, y'know? Not that that's stopped me before.
