FSF convention, Sydney, Australia
Aug. 7th, 2005 12:31 pmThere's a sci-fi convention in Sydney, Australia in November run by 'Friends of Science Fiction' - a Stargate-oriented convention.
They had Chris Judge and Torri Higginson on the original line up. Chris Judge can't make it, but they've booked Joe Flanigan instead.

Am almost rethinking going, not because I don't like JF, just because I don't know how badly fangirly it will be. I guess it's Sydney, Australia, so not too many people will be around - they only barely just filled the room when AT was there. Then again, AT doesn't have the hotboi factor of JF. And I did pay for my ticket, so I might as well go and see.
Generally, I go to conventions because I want to meet the other fans. Thing is, I've met most of the Sydney fen I want to meet (and who want to meet me) already.
I went to the AT convention two years ago because I love and respect her work. Besides which, the conventions in Sydney are convenient - I don't have to pay $3000 for an airline ticket.
This time, I might see if I can get some signatures for the peeps who really like having autos.
