Tahoe and other things

Tahoe was lovely, although the drive up was cold and the drive down was hot.

Am kinda tired and restless and sunburned now. Tired because of 4 hours sleep, restless because of changing dynamics on the f-list, and sunburned because of 9 hours spent in the sun with only a couple of applications of sunscreen.

Yes, I should know better.

Am feeling ennui with LJ and the interactions on it. Again. Mostly related to the shows you and I am/am not watching and the things we agree/disagree on.

Mental note: once back in Sydney, work out how to get a social life with non-online people. I love yous all (okay, well, most of you), but you're looming a little too large in my mental patterns and it's not healthy.

Now, the fun part: finding people who will understand a twenty-something with a cat and a thing for modern sci-fi rather than classic sci-fi. Joy.
