practicality
Nov. 23rd, 2005 09:42 amI am, by and large, a practical person. Give me a problem and I'll look for a way to solve it.
So when I read about how malnutrition kills nearly 6 million a year, I want to know what I can do at a 'just one person' level. Donations? Where? Assistance? To whom? It's all very well to say 'Yes, well they need better infrastructure and should invest money into rural areas' but how is this achieved in a practical manner? Who should I support that's going to do this?
*sigh*
No, practical problem-solving doesn't sell papers, I know.
*prods download along*
Today, I'm marking university exam papers for the parental unit. I hold the future of university students in my hands. Tremble.
ETA: Happy Birthday
coltsbane.
ETA2: I don't know how the teachers on my f-list do this. I've only gotten through one question (54 papers) and my brain is fried. And the handwriting! And the grammar!
