long day

Woke at 6:45 after not sleeping well. Onset of menstrual cramps - the incapacitating kind. Took medicine. Got call from stepdad. He had abdominal pain requiring trip to uncle-doc and he couldn't drive.

7 hours later, assorted tests, waiting rooms, shopping centres, and libraries later (waiting for appointments, etc.), and we're on our way home.

And B2 arrives back from France tonight and guess who has to pick her up from the airport?

What a day!
