She died last night around midnight.

I'm glad she's finally at rest and out of pain. It was a very slow end for her and she professed herself tired.

So there are things to sort out and tidy up, and family things to arrange and work out.

*exhales*

Thanks for all the condolences, guys. I don't have the energy to answer all of you individually right now, but all your messages of encouragement and love were very much appreciated through the day.

She'll be buried on Wednesday, and I'm taking Wednesday and Thursday off for the funeral and family things. Dad flies in tomorrow, but he'll want time with the Aunt and Uncle to work the details of the funeral out, I imagine. And he said something about staying a week or so to help sort out the house, which would be good. I hope we'll see my half-bro for a few days at least. We're not close, but he's good people.
