Mostly the UK is up in the air...

I'm in the UK from the 16th August to the 24th of August.

So far, the only person I know I'm seeing is Sesa who I'm visiting up in Bristol - probably from the 20th-22nd.

Linz and Keels are slated meetups at some stage, Jahncie was interested, and E expressed a momentary flicker in meeting up. Lyd has expressed an interest in travelling to London in August, but I don't know when she'll be there. Possibly she doesn't, either!

Anyone on my friends list (or off it) who'd like to meet up in London or Bristol or a reachable part of the UK?

Heh. Last time I was there, it was sunny for the whole 36 hours I was there! Of course, this time it's 7 days or so, so the odds are a little slimmer...

Well, arranging something with E would involve me actually having the faintest idea where she is in UK terms. Is Bristol anywhere near you guys?

We are near Birmingham which is about an hour and a half away from Bristol I think. It depends on what you think is near *g*. Everything is near here compared to Australia. Heh. :)

Hour and a half is fine. E took a 5 hour train or something to come in and meet me last time I was in London - 1.5 is easy by comparison! :)

It looks more like Lyd's gonna be the centre of social activity, at least in London! Not that I'm a centre of social activity at any time... (looks at all her LJ posts)

But definitely will let you know. I'll be in London from at least the 16th to the 20th - if you can come down for any more than a day, then we could hang out! :)

I could stay with my mum for a while (It's stressful, but it's free LOL)

Last time I went to a gate meet in london, My mum came with me to the train station to meet everyone and make sure they weren't really strange middle aged men pretending to be gaters LOL
We went for something to eat, Dylan slept thru it all, I couldn't hear cus my ears were funny from flying and I kept shouting "pardon?"
then they bought me chocolate cake :-D

all in all a great day!
