Four false starts in POV, one of them got about 10,000 words in before I realised it was the wrong POV. But I can use her contribution later. Actually, I can use almost all the other false starts later, but in the meantime, they go towards the word count.

There is no way this story will be done in 50K words.

I'm at 14,112, that was 3000 words behind at the end of yesterday. I got behind the day of election returns, and a little more behind because of a church function on Saturday. But I've had a few strong days.

I've had writer's block for about 18 hours now, but the good news is that I will have the last six days of the month off if I need to do massive catching up.
