Course...I set up LJ accounts for my mom, birthmother, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law, hoping they'd keep up with me that way and keep up with the kids that way. :-)

I made sure to let mom and dad know most of the content would bore them silly, or I'd tell them anyway. I f-lock the stuff I don't want them to know.

I'd like several of my close friends/family to be able to keep up with what I'm up to but they're just not really interested... I'd only tell people that I wasn't worried about finding out about the other stuff: I'm bi, I have rude dreams about famous people, I love my telly. :)

*Raises hand* I actually sat down with my mom and let her read ost of my entries, and I explained all the things she didn't get. (Fandom stuff.)
