weekend! YAY!

It is one of those afternoons where you stare out the window and don’t get anything done. This week feels like it has gone on for forever, and yet has vanished faster than I’ve expected. Weekend should be quiet. At least, I’m hoping it will be. Once I get home tonight, I anticipate it being on the quiet side - my hosts are going out to see The Aviator. And I’ll probably sit down and write. Hopefully.

I had to default on my house payment. Unfortunately, due to screwy schedules of being paid (I don’t get paid until 6 weeks after I’ve worked), I don’t get paid until today - so my account was short some $700 when the automatic withdrawl happened. I’ve incurred a $45 fee from the bank for attempting to make a withdrawl from an account without the money to withdraw. I dread to think of what the mortgage company is going to do. Probably serve me with a ‘first warning’ notice of some kind. At least I hope it’s not “one default and you’re screwed”. Otherwise, this will be so Not Good.

Still, this week is when the pay should start coming in with some modicum of regularity. It’s just annoying to know that I have earned all this money but it won’t be coming for a while. As in...really annoying.

Ah well. Weekend. Here we come!

you should just have to pay a late fee if you get it in before 2 weeks after it's due. If you don't pay it all month, they will send you a nasty pretend-to-be-polite letter. I think anyway
