"...don't you know that I can be poison?"
Mar. 17th, 2005 07:50 amSome feedback is like fairy floss. Sweet and sugary and tasty for the moment, but soon forgotten. And it probably rots your ego.
Some feedback is like the no-holds-barred family feast Mum puts out for a special occasion. Substantial, nourishing, tasty - and you remember it long after the flavours are faded.
And some feedback is like DDT; poison, building up in the system and killing you slowly.
For some reason, I'm remembering one serve of DDT someone on LJ once gave me. I don't talk to them anymore, they don't talk to me. But the poison is all I'll ever really remember of them.
