ah, the Easter long weekend beckons

Observe the irony in the fact that Australia, being one of the most 'godless' countries around the traps, gets both Good Friday and Easter Monday as public holidays, while the Americans, arguably the people most likely to bring religion into it, don't get a day at all.

It's almost poetic.

Am seriously looking forward to my 4-day weekend. Especially since I've already finished the work that had to be done by next Wednesday and can move onto the next workload.

Oh, and Atlantis marathon Friday.

I used to work at a branch of a Christian bookstore chain. On Good Friday, I attended my church's women's breakfast and then had to drive like the dickens to get to work on time. Yes, the Christian bookstore was open on one of the holiest days of the Christian calendar. Needless to say, most of us sales associates who had to work that day were NOT impressed

I =know= I saw announcements for Atlantis.. and yeah, it must've been Seven cos they ran them during SG-1 Moebius 2 earlier this week
And OMG I just realised: AUSTRALIA GOT MOEBIUS 2 BEFORE THE US LAST WEEK!!

I thought they started showing it ages ago. Must have gotten confused with the start of S8. (Which would have otherwise been very bewildering for the common viewer!)

I'd rather watch on the downloads, personally. Much easier than waiting week to wee, and 7 is crappy with programming - anything takes higher priority than a sci-fi show...

And YES! Australia got MOEBIUS 2 FIRST! It's a flipping miracle!
