Off the top of your head, right now, what ten 'ships would you likely drop what you're doing to read fic for. Or, alternately, what are the top ten ships that you'll give a fic a chance for, or that you've been dying to write, or that you've been dying to read.... These can be new loves, old flames, or something in between. Explain if you like, but you don't have to. Then tell us three things these ships say about you. 1. Sam/Jack - Stargate SG-1: Old ship, gold ship.
2. Harry/Luna - Harry Potter: He grounds her in the practical, she frees him to be who he is without expectation.
3. Bruce/Diana - Justice League: Warrior in the night meets warrior in the light.
4. Sheppard/Teyla - Stargate Atlantis: Wandering souls and fighter spirits.
5. Weir/McKay - Stargate Atlantis: Arrogant geekcute meets naive leadership.
6. Faith/Wes - Angel: Surplus Slayer and unwanted Watcher - and, boy, do they have issues!
7. Mal/Inara - Firefly: Captain and Companion with hearts of gold.
8. Simon/Kaylee - Firefly: Opposite worlds, sheer squee.
9. Ron/Hermione - Harry Potter: She knows, he's clueless, it's teenage ship...and there's no angst!
10. Scott/Jean - X-Men: Because they're matched and mated.
Although at present, I'm pretty much open to anything in Atlantis if it only has more than sheer squee or fluff.
