craft project woes
Jun. 9th, 2005 07:49 pmDAMN!
I'm in the middle of a craft project, having spent the last two days working on it: and I've just realised that the pattern I planned is too strong for the finished result when the design is put into practise.
BUGGER!
So now I have several options: I can finish this project and use it for something other than it's original intended purpose, or I can keep going and hand in the finished product in spite of major dissatisfaction with the pattern. Or I can come up with a new arrangement of the old design that isn't so hard on the eyes.
*grr*
*stares at design, willing it to resolve into something that's pleasant to look at*
I think I might have to go with the new arrangement. I honestly can't be arsed to do all the work again with a new project.
I guess I've learned something for next time, anyway. Big patterns for the large spaces. BIIIIG patterns.
*sigh*
Incidentally, I have AIM open, and every single person on my buddy list is marked both 'away' and 'idle'. It's freaky.
ps. One more pimp: anyone up for the
badcliche ficathon?

Date: 2005-06-09 09:56 am (UTC)That usually happens to me on *all* messengers. It's why I don't bother logging into aim or msn any more- that and no one ever calls me up! I hate being the one to start the conversation all the time but it seems that I am! *sigh*

I worked out the project. It's not quite the way I wanted it, but that's the way the cookie crumbles; and as I said: I've learned my lesson.
