It is finished.
Jun. 22nd, 2005 02:26 pmThe quilt is done! It took about two weeks to make in 'real time' but in terms of time actually spent on the quilt, I'd say it took about 4 days of work - if that. The trickiest bits were where I had one plan in mind and something happened that meant I had to change my ideas. Or get more material.
Anyway, it's for a queen-sized bed, machine quilted, Irish Chain pattern, cotton front and back and padding, with a nylon-front/cotton-back for the quilting thread.

Finished Quilt!

A closer look at the patching.

Detail of the pattern on the material.

The back (plain black).

The plaque I put on it. Just in case they forget who made it for them or where they got it!
Now, to get to other things before I head up for Wedding!Con in a week! EEK! A WEEK!

Date: 2005-06-23 10:16 pm (UTC)There's a train at 3:30am that reaches Nottingham around 7am, which might be an option. I can get some sleep on the flight out from HK - enough to tide me over for the day and night of the 9th, I think.
