"Mr. and Mrs. Smith" was cheesy fun. As in very, very fun, but very, very cheesy.
Pitt actually works as his character. Probably because his character is slightly dopey (yes, hitmen can be dopey, too). Jolie did pretty good as well, even if I couldn't block out the whole stupid gossipy trash-mag bizzo out of my brain while watching the movie.
Saw the "Fantastic Four" trailer. This is one that I actually want to go see. Colour me curious.
allisnow? I don't suppose I can count on you dragging me off to see "Batman Begins" if I haven't seen it by the time we meet up? Maybe while the others are off on the Star Trek Experience?
Today, we went out into Nottingham: saw two lace shops, Nottingham Castle (looks nothing like the one used in the 'Prince of Thieves' movie!), and the oldest pub in the UK. Oh. And I bought $30AUD worth of chocolate. Expensive chocolate. But still. *eats chocolate*
Otherwise, tomorrow, we head in for London to stay with a friend that I didn't meet through the internet!!!! Yes, I'm shocked, too! *g* And then on Monday,
sarajael? And Thursday,
amilyn? And then
squeecon!
ps.
coloneljack? I need a postal addy for you. ASAP.
pps. Have I mentioned how extremely weirded out I am by the idea that when it's morning and I'm online, the Americans are still asleep, instead of just about to go to sleep? No? Well, I am.
