Firefly Fans!
Sep. 29th, 2005 09:15 pmToday, Sydney's Daily Telegraph newspaper (one of the two biggie papers in a city of 3.5 - 4 million) featured a review, an article, and a Big Damn Picture of Mal and River in their 'movie viewing' guide.
I took scans. Because I'm not excited about this. Not. At. All. Nosirree!
SERENITY II!
I haven't even seen Serenity yet!
Anyway, scans are here: (no big spoilers if you've seen the series)
Review of the movie.
Article on Joss and Firefly, headed: "How TV Took My Lunch Money.
Big Damn Picture of Mal. (River's on the Article side)
Should be big enough to read adequately if you got your glasses on!
I don't know if there's a site dedicated to 'Serenity' spottings, but if there is, someone let the relevant peeps know. Serenity's got copy! Good copy!
AND it's a long weekend here in Oz. So what are people going to do on the weekend?
Excited? Whatever gave you the idea that I'm excited?
ETA: And, for the broadsheet snobs (*cough*
chiroho*cough*):
Sydney Morning Herald newspaper: Serenity review. So ner!

Date: 2005-09-29 01:12 pm (UTC)Ha! I'm proud of the fact that, apart from local rags like the Manly Daily, I've never read a newspaper that wasn't a broadsheet.

Date: 2005-09-29 10:55 pm (UTC)I know what I know from the general gossip about the movie (that it's good) and what gets picked up from the trailers (that it rocks).
Have pimped it to my nearest and dearest and am now stretching further apace. :)
