Only half of them in. I have this feeling that it will be yet another of those ficathons where I won't get a fic written for me.

The Crossover Ficathon Oct 2005

Am now tempted to go maudlin. Will go add 500 words to crackfic of doom instead.

Well, you're not alone. I'm also staggered at the number of challenge pieces that are delayed. Frankly, that's not on in my book, but then I'm a sticker for delivery to other people. I don't care if my own deadlines get screwed if it's just for me. But when it's for someone else? No way, no how ;)

If I were a halfwya decent writer and knew I wouldn't make you cringe a dozen times within the first paragraph, I'd write you something.. But alas, I suck at writing fic :-|

S'okay. You can watch BSG S2 with me and incite my plotbunnies to Evil. :)

And feed the Serenity habit some more too!!
Speaking of which: I need to get my hands on a copy of the novelisation while I'm in Sydney, preferably before I go to Cairns.. diving involves a lot of sitting around and relaxing and reading books *g*

LOL. We can take you shopping in Sydney on the Saturday if you like. At the very least, it should be at the local Borders bookstore.

Borders here doesn't have it, but there's a store in downtown Sydney, on York Street, called the Galaxy Bookshop, which does stock it, according to their website.

Me? Geek? Whatever makes you say that? ;-)

Oh yeah, Galaxy. I know Galaxy bookshop.

It's evil. You go in, intending to browse for a few minutes and there's no getting out! (At least, not without having spent at least $100...)

I'll check the Borders up at Hornsby (I actually wouldn't mind getting my hands on the novelisation) and see if they do: they have a pretty good sci-fi/fantasy section.

But if we're going in for a full walk-and-wander through the city day, then Galaxy it is. Just...bring money. :)
