Inara has left the building!

Well, Inara's packed her bags, made her phonecalls to let people know, and left the town. At one level, I'm sorry to close that book. On the other, I was hardly participating anyway, so it's undoubtedly no great loss to me or them.

It's actually rather nice to not have to think 'I should check the comms to see what's new' or trying to work out where that particular plot twist came from. Gives me less time worrying and more time to do other things.

Ironically, I've just discovered (ie. after I did all the postings and messages) that almost all the original townies have also packed their bags and left. So it's kinda propituous since I didn't think Inara was going to do all that well with the new bunch of townies.

Anyway, no more RPGs for a while. saramund, you still have licence to kick me if I look like I'm about to join another one!

Now to writing that damn stagesoflove entry.

It's only 500 words - how hard can it be?

Given that each entry is only to be 100 words... not very? I got mine written in pretty short time. Not my best, maybe, but they're out there and there's been decent fb. Actually took me longer to come up with the ideas than to write 'em *g*

I have ideas, I just keep rewriting them!

And I checked with the organiser of the challenge - she said it can either be a drabble (100 words) or a ficlet (up to 500).

I have to go the 500 words option 'cos there's so much to tell!

Well, I was at first, too - then I asked and she said up to 500 was okay.

So I'm going with the longer option.
