...that it should be a CRIME to watch 200 without someone to laugh with.

ETA: Sue, Denise, Alli, someone, please tell me you saved the chat?

ETA2: Aaaand judging by the responses off my f-list, the defriending begins...now...

Oh dear...I forgot. Maybe Andrew remembered. I'm not sure we were all that scintillating and entertaining. But it was fun. :-)

Actually, I think Trillian saves individual IMs, but I don't know if it saves whole chats.

Well, I did check when you mentioned it and there is a 'save as' function in Trillian. Anyway...maybe once you get it downloaded we can watch it again. I did actually tape it... ;-)

It is downloaded. I watched it after watching SGA. Watched it twice. :)

Hmm, I shall look forward to watching it when I get around to seeing the whole of season 9... the flist responses have been interestingly split ;)

I think it depends on how...seriously you take the show. And how much you're still invested in SG-1, I think. Because I'm definitely not. As far as I'm concerned, Stargate SG-1 ended for me at S8. S9 and S10 are just...you know...extra bits.

So I have no problem laughing my ass off at the episode - or laughing my ass off at the writers. Or just...you know, generally laughing my ass off. *g*

I understand why people wouldn't like it, it was very self-referential, extremely mocking, and totally wicked. But for me it was a laugh and a half, all the way.

Wait, what? How could anyone not love and adore this episode?

I can fully understand how people wouldn't like it - it was over-the-top, out of the box, ringing doorbells before running away, and mooning the fans out the window of the 1978 Ford Gemini with the bad paint job and the pumper stereo blaring.

I think, for me, it was the unpredictability of it. I didn't know what was going to happen next. I had no inkling of how it was going to end. And the various iterations of SG-1 were just...*sporfle*worthy.

Er. And Cam is very pretty. *is ashamed of her shallowness*

But the 'younger, edgier characters'? "Cheer up, emo kid!"

Gee since I'm not a big fan (and I don't think I've ever commented much if at all) I guess my ass is bacon!

Yeah, I could understand how some fans wouldn't like it, but I gotta say -- I have never been closer to peeing my pants watching Stargate than I was last night. Definitely an A in my book! :D

Call mine a felony then... because I watched it twice by myself!

And no defriending here. Because I was in hysterics from the moments the koalas appeared on screen.

I'm with you there. I was worried for a second, how could the Furliongs have shown up and I not know it? Once Sam said the words "Well, that didn't happen" I was hooked. How hilarious!

I was totally confused as well, wondering what episode I'd obviously missed. And then, the quality of the Furlings was so sub-standard compared to Stargate's other aliens. At that point, it all clicked and I was giggling madly at the set-up.

I loved it. I laughed my butt off. Though they kind of scared me at the beginning with the Ewoks. I hadn't really been watching the show, and I was like "what the hell are those things supposed to be???" :)

I sorry, I forgot too! By the time I finally logged off, I was so tired all I could think of was bed. :(

Huh. My flist loved it. Including me and you. So, dunno what that says.

It was the best crack. The. Best.

And Valascape is awesome. Someone should write an entire episode.
