Some "friends" will still stab you in the back over something as insignificant as differing fandom opinions.
Ship wars bring out the worst in people.
There is virtually nothing an actor with a reduced role in a TV series can say that will not cause the fans to wank.
Eating half-cooked chicken is a recipe for stomach upset.
Whenever the menstrual hits, there is only ever white underwear in the underwear drawer.
There is always a scapegoat; even if they aren't the scapegoat, someone must be at fault.
No matter how hard I try, I will never write as much as I want to write in a day, a week, a month, a year.

And this is pretty much why I don't play on the various lists and forums anymore. The people I like, I'm still going to like, even if they don't see things in various shows that I see.
